Design-build MEP engineering for the largest Fitness and Liberty Center in the Navy, which opened after six years of planning, design and construction. The $43.9 million project scope included construction of a 2-story Fitness Center, a 1-story, 16,673 SF Liberty Center, a 12,651 SF outdoor Olympic size pool, two lighted softball fields and one lighted multipurpose/soccer field. The Liberty Center offers an electronic gaming room, movie theater, television lounges, computer lounge, and Wi-Fi. The 89,502 SF Fitness Center includes lobby/reception areas, fitness program spaces, a gymnasium with basketball/ volleyball courts, unit Physical Training (PT) group exercise rooms, parent-child area, and men’s/women’s locker/shower rooms.
